We are now inviting abstract submissions for the PEdSIG Winter Meeting 2023!
Theme: Mix it up! Interdisciplinary learning in paediatrics and child health
Date: Thursday 19th January
Time: 13:00-17:00 (approximately)
Venue: Online
Cost: Free for members and attendees from low- and middle-income countries, £10 for non-members from high income countries
Guest speakers will be confirmed shortly.
Abstract requirements:
- TOPIC: Related to paediatric education
- FORMAT (recommended but not mandatory): Background, Methods, Results, Discussion
- WORD COUNT: Maximum of 350 words
Submitting the Abstract:
1. Indicate the lead/presenting author, and list all other authors
2. Indicate your preference for oral or poster presentation
3. Include 2 copies of your abstract: one with full authorship/affiliation details, and one that is anonymised (to allow anonymised marking of abstracts)
4. In order to be eligible for our early career prizes: Indicate whether the lead/ presenting author fits into any of the following categories: medical student, nursing student, allied health professional student, healthcare professional within 1 year of qualification, healthcare professional within 1-3 years of qualification (fitting into one of these categories is not mandatory for submission!)

Abstracts will be marked out of 10 for quality, relevance, and originality. The highest scoring abstracts will be selected for either an oral or poster presentation.
We will be offering prizes for the best submissions where the lead author fits each of the following categories: medical student, nursing student, allied health professional student, healthcare professional within 1 year of qualification, healthcare professional within 1-3 years of qualification. These will be awarded at the time of the Winter Meeting.
