Suchika is an academic F2 in North London with a research block in Paediatrics at ICH.

She graduated from UCL in 2021 and did her intercalated BSc in Paediatrics and Child Health. During her BSc she carried out a research in paediatric rheumatology at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London (which was a real dream come true for her). Her clinical placements on the childrens’ wards reinforced her goal of being a paediatrician; most notably her clinical elective at the A&E in Bristol Royal Hospital for Children - where the variety and acuity of the patients kept the adrenaline levels high all day (and night)!

Her friends know her as the aspiring paediatrician because she tries to convince everyone that paediatrics is the best specialty (because it really is!!).

In her continuous efforts to have a good work-life balance, her off-days are spent crocheting, binging friends on Netflix (for the 10th time) and going to the gym!

If you have any questions or need guidance on applying for the SFP - she would be happy to be contacted via the PEdSIG email!
