Qasim is a paediatric trainee doctor currently working at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. He is passionate about medical education and leadership and is currently purusing this interest, working as an education fellow at Warwick Medical School and has recently completed his postgraduate certificate in medical education.

His interest in peer education has led him to lead on a national induction project for incoming FY1 doctors as well as teaching programme for foundation doctors interested in paediatrics. He has also supported international medical graduates by developing and delivering a course introducing medical education.

He is keen to convince medical students and foundation doctors that paediatrics is the best decision they will make! In his free time he is a keen (covid permitting) traveller and aspiring (failed) linguist.
