Mumtaz is a London-based Paediatric trainee with huge enthusiasm for medical education. She has held three previous roles as an Education / Simulation Fellow, including one in Melbourne, Australia. She has innovated a number of in situ simulation projects, including a collaboration with airline pilots, focusing on human factors, and interprofessional multidisciplinary simulations with police and youth violence reduction workers in the Paediatric Emergency Department. 

Outside of work, she is currently learning Portuguese, enjoys travelling and has attended a total of 44 weddings around the world in the past 4 years! She hopes to bring her enthusiasm and positivity to the PEdSIG committee!
