Baran is a Paediatric ST1 doctor based in the East of England, with a strong interest in medical education. She graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2024, and has since led multiple educational projects, including a near-peer induction programme for final-year students as they transition into FY1. During her foundation years, she has also organised teaching for foundation doctors, and led paediatric teaching programmes for medical students.

As Events Officer, Baran is excited help create engaging events for students and trainees interested in paediatrics.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys travelling, getting stuck into a good book, and spending time with friends.
