Nick is a general paediatric registrar in the East of England with an interest in paediatric neurology. He started his medical education career as a student teaching first aid courses for St John Ambulance. After moving to Suffolk he spent three years organising the East of England ST1-3 teaching days and a number of regional simulation courses. He is now tutor for the University of Cambridge Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education. In 2018 he was appointed as trainee representative to the RCPCH Start, assessment, and examination executive committees. His research interest is in postgraduate medical training, and his masters explored the ways in which paediatricians in the UK use multisource feedback.

Along with his love of food and caffeine (two things that go very well with medical education) Nick is passionate about promoting PEdSIG across the UK and enabling healthcare professionals from all backgrounds to build their skills as medical educators
