Amanda Friend

Amanda is a paediatric oncology registrar in the West Midlands, having previously trained in Yorkshire and North-East Scotland. She’s a bit of a geek, and was previously an academic clinical fellow in medical education as well as completing an MSc during her foundation and early specialty training. Amanda is very keen on teaching, and believes that it should be a normal part of the working day. She has experience of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and particularly enjoys simulation. She is fuelled largely by tea and chocolate, and tends to bake in advance of all meetings.
