I have been a neonatal consultant for the last 5 years and I work at Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust. I have ensured that I have been involved in education from the very beginning of my training through a PGDip and ACF in medical education. As a trainee I was a regional RCPCH trainee rep and involved in the eportfolio working group. I am now TPD for Education and responsible for designing and implementing a new teaching programme for specialty trainees which is aligned to the new Progress + curriculum. I am involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and also teach paediatric trainees. I am a clinical and educational supervisor for paediatric trainees. I assist in ST1-3 shortlisting and recruitment and participate in the Yorkshire and Humber ARCP panels.
